Past Projects

ALBPM Project

Note: This is a very small sampling of my work. I included these forms to show what it required to create complex dynamic forms: the usability, the project management, and the coding of a skilled developer.

The NPO-screen and SUBK-screen financial forms required a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, User Centered Design and User Testing to make dynamic complicated forms user friendly.

Along with the financial forms in the ALBPM project, there was an International Travel form created. This form was over five pages long and had over 100 fields. Since it was important to let the user know where they were at filling out the form tabs were used with icons letting them know if the page was complete or if there were fields missing.

jQuery Validation Form

The jQuery form has client side validation which was used for SAIC intranet. SAIC was using server-side ASP, this caused a lot of problems for the users and data was lost when they went back to the form to add the missing data. I developed the solution that is now used by all SAIC employees.

BUPERS

The BUPERS mock-up was a SPAWAR project. I used HTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery to display the tabs, charts, the slider and the changing of the confidence level. The officers tab has most of the content.

This was a rough draft and no usability review was done.

UAV

The UAV screen shot was for the DARPA and the unmanned aerial vehicle challenge. The project was done in Liferay, but I hand-coded most of it. On the home page, jQuery was used to rotate the images that had HTML for content. Flash was not needed.
